The Chiefs have continued their unbeaten start to the Super Rugby Pacific season with a 28-7 victory over the Highlanders in Hamilton.
The competition leading Chiefs now have three bonus point wins from three games while the injury-hit Highlanders are still searching for their first win.
At home for the first time this season, the Chiefs were ahead 8-nil at halftime courtesy of a try to Etene Nanai-Seturo and the accuracy off the tee of Damian McKenzie.
Super Rugby Pacific's leading try scorer Shaun Stevenson scored a second half double to help keep the Chiefs clear of the visitors.
With the return of three All Blacks in Aaron Smith, Shannon Frizell and Ethan de Groot the Highlanders got closer than they had in the opening two weeks but still not close enough.
