Police are appealing for information after two dairy staff were robbed at knifepoint in Invercargill early this morning.
At 3am a man entered the Collingwood Foodcentre on North Road and threatened staff with a knife.
Detective Tim Cook said he stole cash and tobacco.
"The offender was around 182cm tall and wore a grey hoodie, blue jeans or chinos, a black balaclava and sunglasses."
"The victims were uninjured, but are shaken and receiving support."
Police urged anyone who saw anything suspicious or had any helpful information to call 105, quoting file number 191109/3839.
Information could also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
