Police in Wellington are working to identify the body of a man found in the water at Houghton Bay.
A member of the public found the body about 10.30am on Thursday.
Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Thornton says the death is not believed to be suspicious.
He says the man is thought to be in his thirties.
