Jailbreaks, disease outbreak reflect dire state of PNG prisons

Papua New Guinea's prisons are under increasing strain due to shortcomings in the country's law and order sector.

A surge in deadly mass jailbreaks, as well as outbreaks of disease, are signs the dire state of PNG's overcrowded prisons is reaching crisis levels.
