Most pandemic-related restrictions have been lifted, but vaccinated travellers must still take a test two days after arrival.
Unvaccinated travellers to New Caledonia must be tested before departure.
New Caledonian pro-independence candidates to mobilise voters
New Caledonian pro-independence candidates running for the legislative elections say they will mobilise voters for the next round.

Pro-independence deputy Fidel Malalua told La Premiere they must gain voters from the opposition now.
"When we say we want to mobilise above our voters, some of our political structure tell not now. But we say now is the time to give a significant representation of New Caledonia. We could at least be represented with one seat. This would reflect New Caledonia's real face."
