An 18-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Krillan Brown in Northland earlier this month.

The man, who was previously arrested and charged with male assaults female in connection with the investigation, has now also been charged over Brown's death on 7 June.
The accused is due to appear in the Kaikohe District Court today.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Dalzell said police had spoken to dozens of people as part of their inquiries and were not seeking anyone else in relation to Brown's death.
