Television New Zealand says a fire which has caused minor damage to its Auckland Headquarters was not related to building work.
The building, on the corner of Nelson and Victoria Streets, had been under construction for much of the year.
Just before 10am staff were evacuated because of a fire.
The extent of the damage was being assessed.
