Police have found there was no credibility to a bomb threat at a school in Cambridge after investigating the incident.
About 500 staff and students were evacuated following the threat at St Peter's School last Thursday.
Waikato West Area Commander Inspector Will Loughrin said matters of this nature are taken seriously and police will assess any new information that comes to their attention.
"We are aware this was a distressing situation for the school, its students and parents," Loughrin said.
"Police will be providing ongoing support where necessary to the school and its community."
