Crowded House member Liam Finn has been signed up to perform alongside Pearl Jam for the New Zealand dates on the Dark Matter World Tour later this year.
After 25 years of performing alongside his father Neil Finn and Crowded House, Liam and Neil released their first collaborative album Lightsleeper in 2018. Liam and his brother Elroy then officially joined Crowded House as core members and co-writers. Liam has been based in the US for the past 12 years.
Pearl Jam will return to NZ and Australia after a decade off the shores. The Seattle grunge rockers will deliver two stadium shows at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on November 8 and 10 alongside Pixies.
Dark Matter is the band's first release since Gigaton in 2020. Pearl Jam - Eddie Vedder, Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron - recorded the album in just three weeks in Malibu last year.
