Organisers of the Wellington Sevens are hoping thousands more fans pack out Westpac Stadium today for the second and final day of the tournament, today.

New Zealand will take on Australia in the quarter-finasl this afternoon, after winning all three of their pool games yesterday.
About 15,000 people attended the first day, leaving more than 19,000 seats empty.
The stadium has a capacity of 34,500 people but organisers limited the tournament crowd to 30,000.

Tournament general manager Steve Dunbar remained positive.
"We've found it more difficult to sell tickets than we ever have but we've got a very well-behaved, pleasant, relaxed crowd enjoying the sunshine, watching the rugby," he said.

"You'll see the concourses are less busy than they have been before. Family zone started off being 350 in there. We extended it to 700, and now we're selling more tickets outside the family zone."

Mr Dunbar said the tournament was going through a transition phase and was now more focused on the rugby.
Police say they want to see better behaviour, after nine spectators were arrested and 60 evicted yesterday.
