Another 50,000 vouchers are being handed out for people to visit tourist attractions and council facilities in Auckland.

The vouchers, which will give discounts on commercial attractions and at council facilities, are part of the government's reactivation support package.

It is hoped the $12 million voucher programme will help bring a buzz back to the city after last year's long Covid-19 lockdown.

The third wave of vouchers was allocated today.

The winners will receive their vouchers via email and can use them on different experiences including water attractions, biking, art exhibitions and performances.

The vouchers are being distributed based on the population size of each local area and will expire 14 days after being emailed to recipients. Vouchers not redeemed go back into the pool.

Aucklanders have 10 days to register for the final draw.
