FIFA has rejected the appeals of two former members of its executive committee who were suspended after accusations were made of corruption during the bidding for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.

After a two-day hearing, FIFA's appeal committee upheld decisions taken by the ethics committee in November.

Amos Adamu of Nigeria must still serve a three-year ban while Reynald Temarii of Tahiti remains suspended for 12 months.

A fine of 10,000 Swiss francs ($10,444) was maintained on Adamu.

A fine of 5000 Swiss francs was maintained on Temarii, who was head of the Oceania Football Confederation at the time.
