The Rugby League Players' Association says a pre-Christmas agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement is solely down to the speed of NRL players accepting the proposal.
Negotiations are believed to have led to a proposed $A5.8 million, salary cap for the 2013 season an increase from the current $A5 million, yet short of the players' target of $A6.5 million and includes a minimum wage of $A80,000.
