It's Tonga Language Week, and the theme is "Fakakoloa 'o Aotearoa aki 'a e Lotu Mo'oni", which in English means "Enriching Aotearoa New Zealand through prayer and faith".
The Minister for Pacific Peoples, Aupito William Sio, says the Tongan community will use that theme to underpin their Covid-19 response towards economic recovery.
The chair of the Tongan Advisory Council, Melino Maka, told Māni Dunlop that even though Covid was putting a dampener on celebrations, there was still a lot to cherish.
