While the numbers of people infected with the Covid-19 virus continue to soar in Papua New Guinea, the Health minister Jelta Wong, says they have it under control.
In recent weeks infection numbers have been climbing at a rate of about 1,000 a week with total infections now close to 17,000.
Wong said the government could not force people to follow its procedures, but he told Don Wiseman that he believed with the regime in place the outbreak was not out of hand.
