A new voter poll on the Northland by-election has New Zealand First leader Winston Peters with a commanding lead.
In the 3News-Reid Research poll, Mr Peters is on 54 percent support, 20 points ahead of National's Mark Osborne on 34 percent.
Labour's candidate, Willow-Jean Prime, was on just 10 percent.
The poll surveyed 500 Northland voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percent.
The by-election will be held this Saturday.
