The search for a swimmer missing in the water at Maruia Falls, at Shenandoah in the Tasman District, is continuing today.
Police were notified just after midday yesterday after two people jumped into the water and only one resurfaced.
Search and Rescue staff and a helicopter assisted in the search yesterday, but were not able to find the missing swimmer.
The police national dive squad is expected to join the search this morning, Inspector Matt Scoles said in a statement.
