The Australian government says it will provide Fiji with an additional US$15 million dollars to rebuild critical infrastructure and increase resilience to natural disasters.
The money will go towards the rebuilding of schools and medical clinics, and the restoration of water and sanitation services.
The Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said Australia will also work with the people of Fiji to repair damaged markets so farmers and market vendors can return to work.

She said the new infrastructure would be better designed to withstand the impact of natural disasters.
Australia has already given Fiji millions in humanitarian and health assistance since Cyclone Winston hit in February.
The remaining Australian military personnel in Fiji are due to depart over the coming days.
