One person is in a critical condition and another in a serious condition after a crash south of Timaru.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of State Highway 1 and Cragie Road at about 5.30pm today.
A section of SH1 is closed to traffic and a detour is in place.
A St John spokesperson said the two people have been transported to Timaru Hospital.
