Two men were arrested during the raids on Wednesday, one of which was a Rebels Gang house in the suburb of Aranui.

Police said they discovered a cut-down shotgun and a .22 rifle during a search of the house.

A police spokesperson said a 22-year-old man was charged with possession of drug utensils and unlawful possession of firearms.

During another search on the same day at a Fitzgerald Avenue house, officers found a sophisticated indoor cannabis growing facility, the spokesperson said

A 56-year-old man is facing charges relating to the cultivation of cannabis and possession of a restricted weapon as a result of that search.
