SPCA relieved Govt didn't outlaw re-homing menacing dogs

The SPCA is relieved the Government's relented on a ban against re-homing menacing dogs.

Associate Minister for Local Government, Louise Upston, yesterday announced a second tranche of proposals  to reduce the risk  of dog attacks.

One of the proposals is that owners of menacing or dangerous dogs will be required to get a high-risk dog owner licence from their local council.
