Papua New Guinea's opposition leader has renewed his calls against new LNG projects unless a Sovereign Wealth Fund is set up.
Don Polye says his calls have fallen on deaf ears and he is concerned about the handling of the proceeds from the project.
The former treasurer says he is worried about corruption, and says there are many risks around the extractive industry.
He says setting up a Sovereign Wealth Fund would ensure the LNG project funds are included in the Parliamentary budget process.
