A man has been arrested and charged with the murder of 23-year-old Porirua man Hone Pawa.
Mr Pawa died after being stabbed on Thursday.
The police say they arrested a 23-year-old man yesterday afternoon.
Detective Senior Sergeant Christiaan Barnard said that the man did not know Mr Pawa.
Another man has already appeared in court charged with assault with intent to injure.
He said they are still investigating Mr Pawa's death and would like to hear from anyone about the movements of a white 1996 Toyota Corolla sedan since Thursday night.
"We have seized a white 1996 Toyota Corolla sedan that we believe was involved with the incident leading to Mr Pawa's death.
"It is distinctive in that it has thick black trim around the body. The right wing mirror is missing and the rear left quarter light is smashed."
The model is an E110 and also is known by the names Toyota Corsa and Sprinter.
