Controversy in Fiji over ban on blood donations from gay men

Fiji's policy of preventing gay men from donating blood has been condemned as unconstitutional and discriminatory.

The criticism follows media reports a homosexual man was not allowed to give blood during a blood drive because of his sexual orientation.

But the country's Health Ministry says its following World Health Organisation guidelines.
