Police are asking the public to help identify a body found in the water at Evans Bay in Wellington today.

They were called early just after 12.30pm today and brought the male body in the water near the Evans Bay marina ashore.
The body is not yet identified and police are making inquiries.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may be able to help, by calling Detective Senior Sergeant Kevan Verry of Wellington Crime Squad via 105.
