Watercare says although Auckland dams are 97 percent full, residents should continue to be sensible with water consumption.
Last October Auckland Council lifted the remaining water restrictions that had been in place since May 2020 after a record-breaking drought.
Watercare Chief Executive John Lamonte says dam levels are a huge improvement compared to this time last year which saw them at 67 percent.
Of the 10 dams across the city, two are 100 percent full, with the rest over 90 percent full.
