A skydiver has been taken to hospital with moderate injuries after landing badly north-west of Auckland.
Police said the incident was at Parakai about 11.30am.
It is the second sky-diving-related injury this week, after two professional skydivers were seriously injured when a tandem jump in Queenstown went wrong on the weekend.
They crash landed while doing a slow turn in a training tandem jump.
They remain in a stable condition in Dunedin Hospital.
