In the UK more than 1200 experts and doctors have spoken out against the government's plan to allow Covid-19 cases to increase, which they say borders on "criminal".
Britain's daily deaths has hit a three-month high, and most Covid-19 restrictions will be eased on Monday - dubbed 'Freedom Day' - in the hopes of achieving herd immunity.
One of the leading groups against the measures is the Independent Sage - a group of scientists providing independent advice on how to minimise deaths and support Britain's recovery from the pandemic.
