Police have named the man who was found dead on State Highway 25A in Coromandel on Wednesday.

He was 20-year-old Bayden Williams, of Tairua.
A 23-year-old man appeared in Hamilton District Court yesterday, charged with murder.
Police said they wanted to hear from anyone who saw a dark green 1997 Jaguar saloon and a silver 2003 Mazda Bounty double cab ute on the road between Kopu and Hikuai between 6pm and 7.30pm on 5 August.
