A 30-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the death of a woman in West Auckland yesterday.
Police launched a homicide investigation after a woman died near Royal Road yesterday evening.
The arrested man will appear in Waitākere District Court on Wednesday, charged with murder.
Police said a number of inquiries were ongoing.
They thanked community members who assisted at the scene and over the past 24 hours.
