Watch: Wellington mayoral candidates debate housing, climate, transport

Wellington's mayoral contenders faced off in Morning Report debate hosted by Susie Ferguson.

Paul Eagle, Andy Foster and Tory Whanau are among the candidates vying to lead Te Whanganui-a-Tara, which faces challenges over housing, public transport, rates, climate adaptation, and the state of its water and sewage pipes.

This is the second of Morning Report's mayoral debates, following last week's discussion between the then-Auckland contenders - Viv Beck having since quit the race.
