Tinian has experienced a sharp increase in flu-like illnesses and the Commonwealth Health Care Corporation is advising the public to get vaccinated.
The health utility is recommending a yearly flu shot for those people six months or older.
It said vaccination was especially important for protecting those at high risk for serious flu complications, including young children, pregnant women, and adults over 65.
People with chronic health conditions like asthma, diabetes, and heart disease are also at risk.
