There's been a slight improvement in the regard Aucklanders have for their council, a survey shows.
Colmar Brunton's Citizen Insights Monitor survey found satisfaction with the council rose to 21 percent in December, compared to 16 percent a year before.
Dissatisfaction was down to 27 percent from 35 percent in the same time.
Trust in council decision making rose to 22 percent from 15 percent, while distrust fell from 47 percent to 39 percent.
Those in central and southern Auckland were more satisfied than those on the rural fringes, where just 11 percent in the Franklin and Rodney wards said they trusted the council's desicions.
