Tuhoronuku, the Ngapuhi mandate authority, is holding two information hui in the north this week - to make up for two called off following protest.
Under the rules of the mandate agreement, Tuhoronuku must keep Ngapuhi informed of progress towards the negotiation of a Treaty settlement.
Kuia Titewhai Harawira says those who've disrupted hui this month are depriving people of the chance to have their questions answered.
She says in spite of that, Tuhoronuku will do what it promised and report back to hapu.
Nominations closed last Friday for the 15 hapu kaikorero on the new independent mandate authority, and the names will be published on Saturday week.
The Tuhoronuku hui re-scheduled for this week are at Whangarei's Pehiaaweri marae at 1pm on Friday, and Te Aroha marae, Mangakahia, at 1pm on Saturday.
