A 29-year-old man has been charged with aggravated robbery and wounding, after a shooting at an Auckland dairy.
Police said they arrested the man in Manukau this morning, and he was due to appear in the Manukau District Court this afternoon.
The Manurewa dairy on Halsey Road was robbed by two people on 18 January, and at the time police said cash and cigarettes were taken.
The shopworker who was shot in the leg has now been discharged from hospital and was "recovering well", police said.
They were continuing the investigation, and could not rule out further arrests.
"This was an isolated event, which we know caused concern for members in our community, and we hope today's arrest provides them with some reassurance," Acting Detective Inspector Warrick Adkin said.
