Three of the major fuel retailers increased their petrol prices by 3 cents a litre on Tuesday.
BP, Caltex and Z Energy, which owns the Shell stations, are now charging $2.09.9 per litre for 91 octane.
The price of 95 octane at BP and Z Energy is $2.17.9, while at Caltex it is $2.16.9.
Diesel prices have increased between 1 and 3 cents per litre, with Z Energy charging $1.46.9 per litre and BP charging $1.47.9 per litre. Caltex's diesel prices vary across the country.
The rise is the third in a month.
