The White Ferns squad for the Rose Bowl home series against Australia and the Women's Cricket World Cup in March has been announced.

The 14 strong squad includes new cap Abby Burrows and recalled all rounder Kate Pulford.

White Ferns coach Gary Stead says Burrows has tremendous ability to swing and seam the ball, while Pulford is a strong hitter of the ball and a versatile bowler.

Haidee Tiffen will captain the side, with Aimee Mason her deputy.

New Zealand last met Australia in the Rose Bowl series at Lincoln last March, with Australia winning the series 3-2.

The Rose Bowl series also serves as preparation for the Women's World Cup, which begins in Sydney on March the 7th.
