A man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition suffering what are believed to be stab wounds early on Friday in west Auckland.
Police said they were called about 2.15am on Coburg Street, in Henderson following a report of disorder.

Officers and forensics cordoned off the cul-de-sac at the end of the street.
A St John spokesperson said staff attended the incident and took one person to Auckland Hospital.
Police believe this is an isolated incident and do not believe there is any ongoing risk to the public.
The scene examination is due to be completed later today, they said.
