The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has again extended the period for public submissions for Trans Tasman Resources' (TTR) application to mine ironsands off the Taranaki coast.
The extension follows the Environment Court's ruling this week that blacked-out pages in the company's consents application must be made public.
The submission period has been extended by 20 days, until 5pm on 12 December.
The EPA said submissions already received would still be valid, and parties could update or replace their original submission.
In October, the submission period was extended to 14 November after iwi complained they hadn't had enough time to study the application.
