The two individuals were identified by travel screening and have been moved into isolation.

Out of the CNMI's 102 total cases, 77 are from incoming passengers. 36 from the US mainland, 29 from Guam, and 11 from foreign countries.

The CNMI has had no community transmission since its 51st case in early August.

Meanwhile, the CNMI is expected expect to receive its first batch of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine by the end of the month.

Health authorities say around 2,000 initial doses will be administered to the islands' health care workers and front-liners.

The second batch of the vaccine, of around 12,000 to 15,000 doses, is expected to arrive around 14 December and will then be allocated to high-risk people.

The rest of the cache of vaccines developed by Pfizer and BioNTech will then be shipped in January and February.

Save for an administrative fee that will be billed to insurance companies, the vaccine won't cost individuals.

The CNMI government will shoulder the administrative fee for those who don't have insurance.

The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine has been touted as being 90 percent effective.
