But they claimed four more on Wednesday to sit at seven gold medals, one less than New Zealand, after Wednesday's rounds of events.
Results from the Pacific Games Media saw Nauru claimed the four gold medals on powerlifting at the Marantha Hall.
Blanco Wharton clinched the gold medal with an impressive total lift of 480kg.
He totalled 170kg in squat, 120kg in bench press and 190kg in deadlift.
Their second gold came from the men's 66kg event, where Mahaasin Daoe recorded totals of 210kg in the squat, 125kg in the bench press, and a whopping 230kg in the deadlift, totalling 565kg overall.
Brocka Scotty took out the third gold in the 74kg event, with a total 640kg before Deamo Baguga lifted 717.5kg in the 83kg event to end the day with Nauru's fourth gold.
Baguga totalled 265kg in the squat, 145kg in the bench press and 307.5kg in the deadlift.
Papua New Guinea, the Solomon islands, Tahiti and Niue picked silver and bronze medals from the four events where Nauru finished with gold medals.
Hosts Solomon Islands dropped to seventh place on the medal standings after PNG collected two more gold medals at the end of competion Day 9.
Triathlon
Men's and women's finals take place early on Thursday at the Aquatic Centre for the swimming leg and continuing on the roads of Honiara for the running and cycling legs.
Athletics
continues at the Honiara's National Stadium. Events on the fourth day include finals for women's 1500m, women's 100m hurdles, men's 110m hurdles, and 4x400m relay for both men and women on the track. In the field, women's shot put secured throw will take place along with women's javelin, women's triple jump, men's discuss and men's long jump.
Boxing
Boxers will re-enter the ring on Thursday throughout the afternoon with fights in fly and super heavyweight for men and feather and welterweight for women. All bouts are happening at the Aquatic Centre.
Netball
The netball arena at Friendship Hall will see more action.
Basketball 3×3 and beach volleyball
Basketball 3×3 and beach volleyball continue their pool matches at the SIFF Academy.
Hockey
Hockey enters the final stages of pool matches on Thursday at the National Hockey Centre with Powerlifting also at SIFF Academy featuring the final four categories to be contested in the men's 93kg, 105kg, 120kg and 120kg+ where more medals are up for grabs.
Touch rugby
DC Park continues to host touch rugby and Thursday sees the start of the mixed competitions, with nine matches to be played in total.
Va'a and Kayak
Va'a and kayak will be the stars of the show on the water again on Thursday. Va'a has already seen lots of fast paddling racing in outrigger canoes and enters its second last day, while the first ever Pacific Games kayak competition will be concluding on Thursday.
Sailing
Sailing will continue, wind permitting, at DC Park on Thursday and races run until the afternoon.
Tennis
Tennis is at the home stretch with the finals of the men and women's singles and doubles. The women's singles final will see Samoa v PN, while in the men's singles, New Caledonia will take on Tahiti.
In the doubles, Samoa meets Solomon Islands in the women's final followed by Fiji battling Tuvalu in the men's final. Play will take place at the National Tennis Centre.
Football
Football continues after a day off on Wednesday with three men's placing play off matches at SIFF Academy.
