New Zealand's record breaking total of 215 runs was the highest international score by a visiting T20 team in the Caribbean.

Glenn Phillips top scored with 76, including six sixes, and told SkySport he's familiar with the conditions from playing in the Carribean Premier League.

Batsmen Devon Conway and Phillips smashed 20 runs off just one over, while Daryl Mitchell was at his swashbuckling best in hitting 48 off 20 balls.

The West Indies slumped to 125 all out in their run chase at Kingston's Sabina Park.

The final game in the T20 series will be played on Monday, before the teams meet again in three one-dayers.

Enjoying a superb run of form, the loss was Kyrgios's first since falling to Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final.

Since then the 27-year-old has been on a roll, including a title at the Citi Open, before running into Hurkacz who improves his record to 2-0 against the Australian following a three sets win earlier this year in the Halle semi-finals.

Romania's Simona Halep fought off a late rally from Coco Gauff to secure a 6-4 7-6(2) win and advance to the Canadian Open semi-finals for a fifth time.

Twice champion Halep, up a set and leading 4-1 in the second, looked headed for an easy passage into the last four.

But Gauff dug in and rallied to force the second set to a tiebreak before 15th-seeded Halep finish off the 10th seed in the tiebreak to maintain her dominance over the American.

Qatar to kick off World Cup as finals brought forward by one day

This year's World Cup in Qatar will start a day earlier than originally scheduled with the opening ceremony now taking place before the host nation kick off the tournament on Sunday, Nov. 20 against Ecuador, world governing body FIFA said.

The original plan was for the opening ceremony to be held before Qatar's first game on Nov. 21, which would have created the unusual situation of two matches - Senegal v Netherlands and England v Iran - being held before the ceremony.
