Police from the National Organised Crime Group arrested 10 men and one woman today, as part of Operation Oceanuster.

A senior member of the Head Hunters' West chapter has been charged with 10 offences relating to firearms, and manufacture and supply of methamphetamine and other drugs.

Detective Inspector Greg Cramer said police seized eight firearms, a clandestine laboratory and other equipment used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Those arrested range in age from 34 to 57, and police said most would face a range of serious drug charges including the manufacture and selling of Class A drugs. They are all scheduled to appear in either the Auckland or Waitematā District Court by the end of Wednesday.

Mr Cramer said police were keen to hear from anyone with information on illegal drug activity.

"Our investigations are continuing and our message to those involved in the manufacture or distribution of methamphetamine is that you will be held to account."
