Forestry body on slash from Cyclone Hale

Tairāwhiti has been battered by heavy rain as Cyclone Hale passed down the country, causing forestry slash to barrel down waterways.

Foresty companies have been prosecuted for damage caused by slash in past floods, including five relating to a storm that hit Tolaga Bay in 2018.
