Methanex expected to scrap $100m emissions reduction upgrade

Methanex is likely to mothball its planned $100 million upgrade of its Motunui plant in Taranaki, in response to the government's plan to ban new offshore exploration. That's according to John Kidd, who is the director of sector research at Woodward Partners. Mr Kidd says it's not the only investment that won't be happening in the province. John Kidd talks to Susie Ferguson.
