A person is in hospital after a three vehicle crash on Dunedin's southern motorway.
The two cars and a bus crashed this afternoon near the Caversham turn-off.
Police said one person had to be freed from one of the vehicles.
St John Ambulance said it took one person to Dunedin hospital with serious injuries and treated seven other people for minor injuries at the scene.
Traffic was reduced to one motorway lane in each direction and polcie said there were delays.
