There are six new cases of Covid-19 in managed isolation and quarantine facilities today and no new cases in the community.
The Ministry of Health says the new cases are in isolation in Auckland and came from India, Qatar, Bahrain, Turkey and the Maldives.
The total number of active cases in the country is 25 while the seven-day rolling average of new cases detected at the border is two.
Meanwhile, the case reported in a recent returnee in managed isolation yesterday as historical has been reclassified as not a case.
The total number of confirmed cases for New Zealand is 230 and since 1 January 2021 there have been 60 historical cases out of a total of 486 cases.
The total number of tests processed by laboratories to date is 2,090,622 and laboratories processed 5324 tests yesterday. The seven-day rolling average is 3673.
As for the Covid Tracer app, it now has 2,825,912 registered users, poster scans have reached 270,727,399 and users have created 10,152,608 manual diary entries.
There were 549,347 scans in the last 24 hours to midday yesterday.
