A second investigation into a commercial jet boat crash that injured nine tourists near Queenstown is due to begin today.

Skippers Canyon Jet has suspended its operations since the crash on the Shotover River around 10am yesterday.
Transport Accident Investigation Commission investigators were due at the scene this morning while Maritime NZ began its review yesterday.
A spokesman for Skippers Canyon Jet, Gavin Larsen, said it was too early to say when boat trips would resume.
"It won't be until we have a full review of the incident and investigate it throughly," he said. "It could be a couple of days, it could be a couple of weeks."
The tourists who were on the boat were mostly from Thailand and Canada.
"We deeply regret the distress caused to all passengers involved and are providing them with our full support," Mr Larsen said.
The most seriously injured, a Canadian woman, was treated for a broken leg at Dunedin Hospital. The other tourists suffered minor injuries and were treated and discharged from Lakes District Hospital.
The boat driver suffered minor injuries but did not need medical treatment.
