It may have only been the qualifying round, but New Zealand's Tom Walsh didn't hold back, setting a new Games record in his first throw.

Walsh threw 22.45metres - nearly two metres further than his nearest rival.
The previous record of 21.61m was set by Jamaican O'Dayne Richards at Glasgow four years ago.
"Last time I did that (threw a record in qualifying) four years ago and I didn't win the final, so hopefully I don't do anything like that tomorrow," he told reporters.
"I feel really good throwing 22.45m. There are probably 10 guys in the world who have thrown that ever. So I feel pretty good."
With a throw of 22.45m, Walsh certainly made a statement and there's no doubt his coach, Dale Stevenson will be losing yet another bet against the shot putter.
He's currently sporting mutton-chop sideburns after Walsh won the World Indoor Championships.
Walsh will compete in the shot put final tomorrow.
