A 10th person has died in French Polynesia's Covid-19 pandemic as 491 cases remain active.
46 people with the disease are in Tahiti's hospital, including five in intensive care.
Of the 2410 Covid-19 cases, 2348 were recorded after the borders were reopened and mandatory quarantine requirements were abolished in July in order to boost tourism and revive the economy.
While most cases were detected in Tahiti, the virus reached several outer islands.
With the epidemic worsening, official updates have become less frequent.
Since the previous update two days ago, 130 new cases were recorded.
